They treat with knowledge and smile

Residents of the Medical Institute of Tula State University know firsthand that medicine is not only scalpels and pills, but also a kind word, look and smile. They received their diplomas on July 18.
In 2025, 180 people graduated from the residency of the Tula State University Medical Institute, 71 of whom studied in targeted places. However, most of these specialists have long decided on their future and, for many, their current place of work. Therapists, cardiologists, surgeons, oncologists, otolaryngologists, in total - representatives of 24 medical specialties received educational documents.
According to tradition, the Minister of Health of the Tula Region, Sergei Igorevich Mukhin congratulated graduates:
- You have gone from being a student to a highly qualified specialist, ready to take on the highest responsibility - responsibility for the health and life of a person. Your diploma is not just an educational document, it is a confirmation of your deep knowledge, perseverance and calling.
The mayor of Tula, also a doctor, Alexey Aloisovich Erk, had a special mission at the ceremony - he presented gratitude from the head of the municipality to the residents who from the first days worked in the military hospital based on the Tula Regional Hospital.
- In our difficult times, medical workers perform a real feat, - said A.A. Erk from the stage. - I know yesterday's graduates who are already saving lives in the special military operation zone, working in hospitals and on the front lines, providing assistance in the most difficult conditions.
The head of Tula addressed words of gratitude to the director of the Medical Institute Roman Vladimirovich Grachyov and the entire faculty. Congratulations were also heard from the chief doctors of medical institutions of the Tula region, for whom today's graduates are worth their weight in gold. There were songs presented to the entire hall by yesterday's students, and today - professional doctors. These specialists are capable of much!
- I am sincerely proud of our graduate residents! - R.V. Grachyov addressed the audience. - How wonderfully the chief doctors of our medical institutions speak of you. Thank you very much for your kind hearts, for your responsiveness and help to our guys who are undergoing treatment in military hospitals. Special words of gratitude - to your family and friends for their support and understanding. I wish you kindness and the ability to empathize with the pain and affliction of the patient. Do not forget your teachers, your alma mater. Remember, the doors of Tula State University are always open for you!
