The first educational exhibition of 2026, "Russian Universities - The Best Choice," was held in Hanoi from March 8 to 16. Tula State University was represented by Olga Dmitriyevna Gladkova, Director of the Institute of International Education, as part of a delegation from six leading Russian universities.

Olga Dmitriyevna not only presented Tula State University's educational programs but also moderated the exhibition's events. She also participated in organizing and conducting the final and concluding rounds of the Russian language Olympiads for schoolchildren and students.

Presentations were held at prestigious institutions: Tung Thien School (Hanoi), Nguyen Chai and Chan Phu Special Schools (Hai Phong), Capital University, Red Star University, Hanoi University of Business and Technology, and the Ministry of Education of Vietnam.

Vietnamese youth learned about Tula State University's 95-year history, its student population from 70 countries, free IT training at the Digital Department, the cultural richness of Tula as Russia's third museum capital, and the IMO's multicultural festivals. Feedback from the Vietnamese students currently studying at the university was particularly interesting.

O.D. Gladkova held consultations on submitting applications on the "Education in Russia" website, which must be submitted by March 31. The visit culminated in a discussion of the upcoming signing of a memorandum with the University of Moscow and the Tung Thien School.

Tula State University expresses its gratitude to Vladimir Murashkin, Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in Vietnam, for organizing the exhibition during the Russian-Vietnamese Year of Science and Education (the “cross” Year), approved by the decision of Russian President Vladimir Putin and General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam.
