TulSU team won gold at the "Zdorovye" Spartakiad

As part of the celebration of the Medical Worker's Day, the IV regional Spartakiad "Health" for employees of state health care institutions of the Tula Region was held. As at the main world competitions - the Olympic Games - here they lit their symbolic fire to inspire the participants to victory!

The participants of the Spartakiad were welcomed by the Deputy Minister of Health of the Tula Region, Oksana Anatolyevna Dubrovyna. She emphasized that, despite the importance of sports achievements, the main victories of medical workers are made daily in the struggle for the life and health of patients.

Representatives of medical organizations competed in various disciplines: city sports, fijital dances, darts, athletics, volleyball and table tennis.

Among the 400 participants from 40 teams, the TulSU national team called "Severus Tape" stood out - it was made up of students and employees of the Medical Institute of TulSU.

Among the employees, Vladyslav Vyacheslavovich Radin - assistant of the Department of "Surgical Diseases", Darya Andreyevna Gorlatykh - deputy director for extracurricular and educational work of the Medical Institute of TulSU, an otorhinolaryngologist, and Natalya Borisovna Kinyasheva - deputy director for scientific work of the Medical Institute of TulSU, a cardiologist, took part.

Our team performed brilliantly in the relay, showed a good result in 2 minutes and 3 seconds, which brought us the 1st place in athletics. This is a real team effort that proved: health care does not exclude an active lifestyle!

- Today we are awarding the winners of the Spartakiad but at the same time, all of you, medical workers, achieve much more significant victories every day: you save lives, give health, support those who need it. Sport only emphasizes your best qualities. Since this year, the Tula region is officially considered the territory of family happiness. How wonderful that is that many participants passed these competitions together with their families! Joint starts, support of loved ones, joy of common victories - all this not only strengthens health, but also truly brings us together, - noted Oksana Anatolyevna.
