III place at the All-Russian forum of foreign medical students "MEDUNITY RUSSIA"
From June 1 to 3, the First Moscow State Medical University named after I. M. Sechenov, the oldest medical university in Russia and the flagship of medical education in our country, hosted the All-Russian Forum of International Medical Students "MEDUNITY RUSSIA".
This forum united on its platform not only international students studying medicine in Russia, but also employees of the international services of Russian universities.
International students from India, Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, China, Lebanon, Angola and other countries took part in "MEDUNITY RUSSIA".
Forum was aimed at revealing the professional, scientific and entrepreneurial potential of foreigners studying medicine in Russia, their integration into the Russian scientific and educational space and the formation of an international community of future leaders.
Tula State University was represented at this forum by the director of the Institute of International Education, Olga Dmitriyevna Gladkova, and first-year resident oncologist Abdulhalem Mustafa Muhammed Abdulhalem.
The program of the forum was rich - the medical and international community were waiting for the International competition of young scientists "Medical Exploration Bridge", where participants presented their work in the field of fundamental and applied science and clinical practice, a panel discussion "Entrepreneurship in biomedicine: from ideas to implementation", a round table "Internationalization of medical education: barriers, opportunities, development prospects", various master classes, sports activities and other events.
Resident oncologist Abdulhalem Mustafa Muhammed Abdulhalem presented his report on the topic "Study of the possibilities of the liquid biopsy method for detecting tumor recurrence in comparison with the method of using oncomarkers" (scientific supervisor: Doctor of Medicine, Professor, Head of the Oncology Department Arif Ziyadovych Huseynov) in the "Clinical Medicine" section.
Director of the Institute of International Education, Olga Dmitrievna Gladkova, made a topical report on the topic "From experience: training medical personnel for foreign countries at the Tula State University" at the Round Table "Internationalization of medical education: barriers, opportunities, development prospects" and took part in the discussion.
On the last working day of the forum, at the solemn closing ceremony, the winners in different areas of its work were announced.
We congratulate Mustafa and his scientific supervisor Arif Ziyadovich Huseynov on the 3rd place in the International Competition of Young Scientists "Medical Exploration Bridge" in the "Clinical Medicine" section.
