Dive into Science_

The fifth summer linguistic school for young researchers, “Dive into Science!”, has kicked off at the Polytechnic Educational and Recreational Complex.

This year, 30 Russian students from the Rostech Code, Rostech Arsenal, and Rostech Quality tracks, as well as 20 international students from 15 countries, are participating.

Summer School for Young Researchers is a 10-day intensive internship to develop skills in the English language (English for Academic Purposes (EAP), Spoken English) and research and project activities in English, combined with a cultural and recreational program, also implemented in English.

During 10 eventful days of internship as part of the “Dive into Science!” project, participants will not only study English in an intensive communicative format and engage in research and project work in English, but will also attend a series of popular science lectures in English. Leading professors and researchers from Tula State University will be among the lecturers and experts.

Participants will also enjoy daily meetings of the “Boost Your English!” discussion club, cultural and recreational activities, and a scientific and educational excursion in English.

The project's competitive advantage is its use of a method of intensive immersion in the language environment through the use ofonly one working language for communication and instruction - English.

English language proficiency is a key tool for engineers, directly impacting their professional effectiveness, access to knowledge, and career opportunities.

The “Dive into Science!” summer school runs until July 25.
