TulSU Receives Industrial Robotic System from Haval

ulSU has expanded its educational facilities with a genuine industrial robotic system, supplied by Haval Motor Rus Manufacturing under a partnership agreement.

The equipment is currently located in the training area; installation is the next step, after which the robot will serve as a full-fledged tool for training future engineers.

The system will be utilized in programs offered by the Department of Industrial Automation and Robotics. Students will work with real machinery—using equipment identical to that found in modern manufacturing plants rather than relying solely on diagrams.

The robot will be seamlessly integrated into several key courses. During laboratory and practical sessions, students will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience: understanding the robot's structure, mastering basic movements and individual axis operations, and learning to work with coordinate systems and tool calibration. Special emphasis will be placed on programming—ranging from simple commands to logic modules and timing cycles. Additionally, students will learn to operate grippers and tools, gaining an understanding of the robotic system's entire operational cycle.

This approach allows students to go beyond merely studying robotics; it enables them to familiarize themselves with the rhythm of real-world production from their early years of study—grasping nuances, getting a feel for the machinery, and learning to solve problems just as they are addressed in industrial settings.
