TSU at the forum "Engineers of the Future": teaching and learning

The team of Tula State University will again compete for the championship of the International Youth Industrial Forum "Engineers of the Future", which starts on June 23 in the Tula region. Teachers experts of TSU will conduct classes for participants of the event from different regions of Russia and countries of the world. More than one and a half thousand people are expected to gather at the Future Engineers 2023 forum, which will be held again in the Tula region. The opening ceremony is scheduled for June 26, but already this weekend participants and speakers will gather in Aleksin, for whom a concert program is planned with the participation of rock singer Yulia Chicherina. Employees of more than 250 industrial enterprises, graduate students and students of 26 universities from 56 regions of Russia will come to the forum. In addition, according to the organizers, representatives of 73 countries will arrive. As part of the educational program, fifteen faculties were formed, including four new ones: biotechnical systems, long-term planning, production management "Optima", scientific and engineering. The business program includes panel discussions, round tables with the participation of corporate heads, top managers of machine-building enterprises, university rectors and politicians. In particular, at the opening of the forum they are waiting for the governor of the Tula region A.G. Dyumin, General Director of Rostec State Corporation S.V. Chemezov, Vice Speaker of the Federation Council N.A. Zhuravlev, Deputy Chairman of the Union of Mechanical Engineers of Russia V.V. Gutenev. On one of the days, a discussion is planned with the participation of the head of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science V.N. Falkov and rectors of leading technical universities.

Specialists of TSU together with JSC "KBP named after Academician A.G. Shipunov" prepared and will conduct the program of the faculty of high-precision weapons complexes of the near tactical zone. Students will explore the possibilities of aerodynamic design, applied gas dynamics, as well as get acquainted with the history and prospects for the development of high-precision weapons. Part of the course will be devoted to practical exercises on the design of small arms and familiarity with weapons that are produced in the Tula region. The TSU team will again fight for the championship in the overall standings. Points on the forum can be obtained not only for attending lectures and participating in practical exercises, but also for the best creative and sporting achievements. The university team consists of 11 participants, some of whom already have experience working at the Future Engineers forum. One of them is a graduate of the direction "Management" Evgeny Portnov.
