Recipes for business
On May 27, Tula State University together with the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (National Research University) launched the next cycle
of entrepreneurial competence trainings within the framework of the federal project “University Technological Entrepreneurship Platform”. These cycles are
organized by the Startup Studio of TulSU.
Students not only from our university, but also from Tula State
Pedagogical University named after L.N. Tolstoy, Tula branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, Tula branch of the Financial University under
the Government of the Russian Federation and other educational organizations of the region take part in the trainings.
Today's event began with a solemn moment. Yuliya Vladimirovna
Verbitskaya, Director of the Startup Studio, warmly welcomed all the paticipants.
She said that Tula State University has created an ecosystem that helps
students launch their own business process.
During the entrepreneurial competence trainings students generate ideas, learn how to present their projects and work in a team.
In the autumn of this year, the speaker continued, an accelerator
program aimed at creating an environment of youth technological entrepreneurship will be launched at the university.
Students participate in various forums, contests, conferences, and grant
programs from the Innovation Promotion Fund. Only in TulSU alone 15 people became such grant holders. Many defend their final qualification works in the
format “Startup as a Diploma”.
- The future of Russia depends on what skills you guys will leave the university with, - emphasized Yuliya Vladimirovna. - Tula State University has
created all conditions for the development of your competencies. Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity! And try to maximize your creative potential!
On the first day of the training cycle, the students were addressed by
Larisa Sergeyevna Yejova, a certified business coach of SME Corporation JSC(Moscow), a teacher of the Regional Institute of Continuing Education of Perm
State National Research University, an active entrepreneur since 2006, an expert of the Center “My Business” (Perm Region), a psychologist, a coach, a
tracker of educational programs of Business Environment JSC (SBER), a trainer of the Technological Entrepreneurship project. She was assisted by Ilnur Rimovich
Samatov.
Everything started with a warm-up for the mind. As Larisa Sergeyevna herself explained, it is necessary to get in the mood for productive work.
Since entrepreneurial activity is aimed at making profit, which is the
opinion of many students, the questions were mostly about money. These questions did not leave anyone indifferent because they were so interesting.
Surprisingly, but the fact is that the coin of 1000 francs, minted in
Benin in 2015, depicts ... actor and bard Vladimir Semyonovich Vysotskiy.
Many people knew that 1 kopeck of Ivan the Terrible's time could buy 3 kilograms of rye flour and immediately gave the right answer.
After the warm-up Larisa Sergeyevna conducted the training “Startup Mix:
Recipes for Successful Business Startup” in the format of a business game.
The participants were divided into 8 teams. Each of them generated an idea and then presented it to potential investors.
Despite a very busy day, and the process of mastering entrepreneurial
competencies captivating them, the participants did not refuse to share their impressions.
Alexander Kapranov, a second-year student of the Institute of Pedagogy,
Physical Education, Sports and Tourism, has been attending entrepreneurial competencies trainings for the second year.
- It is very interesting and useful! Practical tasks, modeling
situations - all this allows you to understand how business works, - said the student. - This summer I plan to try my hand at business. I already have an
idea. So the practical skills I received at such trainings will definitely be useful to me.
Maria Mukhina, a sophomore journalism major at the Institute of
Humanities and Social Sciences, was also interested in student entrepreneurship.
- I found out that our university organizes such events and immediately
decided that I would go,” she said. - Our life is like that... Maybe I will have to do business and trainings will help me in this.
On May 28, future entrepreneurs will attend the training “How to Win in
a Highly Competitive Environment”, and on May 29 - the training “Technobusiness”.
