We won the third place at the 10th All-Russian Youth Scientific Forum!
Maxim Chelyukanov, a junior researcher at the BASIB Laboratory (Laboratory of Biologically Active Compounds and Biocomposites) and a first-year graduate student, took third place in the 10th All-Russian Student and Graduate Research Competition, held as part of the 10th All-Russian Youth Scientific Forum “Science of the Future – Science of the Young.” The interdisciplinary scientific event "Science of the Future – Science of the Young" is held annually at leading universities across the country.
Since 2014, the forum has been held in St. Petersburg, Sevastopol, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Sochi, Moscow, and Kaliningrad. This year, 300 R&D competition finalists across 10 sections took part in the event, hosted by Saratov State University.
Maxim successfully presented his research results on the topic: "The Mechanism of Electroactivity in Microbial Biofilms Isolated from Activated Sludge and Its Enhancement with Single-Wall Carbon Nanotubes to Form a Receptor Element of a BOС (Biochemical Oxygen Consumption) Biosensor" in the “Earth Sciences, Ecology, and Sustainable Nature Management” section.
He deservedly won the competition!
