Russian Education in Vietnam: Tula State University Shows the Path to Knowledge

The "Russian Universities – The Best Choice" educational exhibition was held in Vietnam with the active participation of Tula State University.

From September 21 to 27, 2025, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam hosted the next stage of a large-scale project to promote Russian education – the "Russian Universities – The Best Choice" exhibition. Five Russian universities, including Tula State University, were among the leading participants of the forum.

Tula State University was represented at the event by Olga Dmitriyevna Gladkova, Director of the Institute of International Education. During the exhibition, she held numerous consultations with potential applicants and spoke about the university's extensive educational opportunities and research potential.

The exhibition started at the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Hanoi with an official opening event that brought together schoolchildren, students, teachers, and media representatives. Center Director Vladimir Vladimirovich Murashkin noted the importance of such events in helping Vietnamese youth make an informed and confident choice in favor of Russian universities.

Presentations and career guidance meetings were held at several venues in Northern and Central Vietnam, including the TulSU partner Danang Polytechnic University, special schools for gifted children, and regional education authorities. The opportunity to experience the multicultural atmosphere of Tula State University and the historical and cultural heritage of Tula, Russia's third museum capital was of particular interest.

Vietnamese applicants and their parents received detailed consultations on the admission process to Russian universities under the Russian Government's quota for the 2026/2027 academic year. According to Olga Dmitriyevna Gladkova, such personal interactions, supported by the materials specially prepared in Vietnamese, help build trust and understanding of the advantages of Russian education.

The exhibition events make a significant contribution to strengthening educational cooperation between Russia and Vietnam, expanding academic mobility and creating conditions for the successful international exchange of knowledge and experience.

Tula State University thanks the leadership of the Russian House in Hanoi and Vladimir Vladimirovich Murashkin for the high level of organization and fruitful cooperation, especially in the year marking the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Vietnam.
