Tula State University was presented on a large scale in China
From June 9 to 18, a large-scale event was held in the People's Republic of China under the auspices of the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing: the Traveling Exhibition and Presentation of Russian Education. Olga Dmitriyevna Gladkova, Director of the Institute of International Education, represented Tula State University.
The exhibition route passed through five provinces of China. The main platforms for promoting Russian education were located in Chinese educational institutions in the following cities: Beijing, Baotou, Xi'an, Luoyang, and Chengdu.
In addition to Tula State University, the exhibition participants included leading universities from our country: Baltic Federal University named after Immanuel Kant, MIREA – Russian Technological University, Moscow City Pedagogical University, Moscow State University of Sport and Tourism, Moscow State Law University named after O.E. Kutafin, Moscow University named after A.S. Griboyedov, HSE – St. Petersburg, Russian Biotechnology University (ROSBIOTECH), State Pedagogical University of Russia named after A.I. Herzen, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia named after Patrice Lumumba, St. Petersburg State University, Sechenov University, Ural Federal University, and Southern Federal University.
The educational tour of five Chinese provinces started at the “Day of Russian Universities in Beijing”. Participants included prospective students and representatives of consulting and educational companies. Guests not only learned about Russia's leading universities but also immersed themselves in a unique atmosphere: themed photo zones were set up for them, allowing everyone to take memorable photos. Participants were also able to embark on a true journey through Russian universities without leaving Beijing, filling in their “future applicant's passport” with the seals of Russian educational institutions.
Much was accomplished during these ten days: delegations promoted Russian education at exhibition venues at the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing, Baotou Railway Vocational College, Baotou Professional Railway Institute, Xi'an University of Finance and Economics, Lugang Middle School of the First Railway Middle School of Xi'an International Port Zone, High School of the Luoyang Institute of Science and Technology, Luoyang No. 3 Senior Secondary School, Luoyang Foreign Language School, Luoyang Experimental Secondary School, Luoyang No. 5 Senior Secondary School, Chengdu Tianli Middle School, and Chengdu University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
All events of the Traveling Exhibition and Presentation of Russian Education program were held as part of the Years of Russian-Chinese Cooperation in Education. They combined three key areas: university presentations, career guidance, and interuniversity interaction, creating an effective platform for collaboration between Russian and Chinese universities and laying a solid foundation for subsequent targeted interaction.
Five provinces of China, five cities, five stops, where Tula State University, as part of a delegation of leading Russian universities, showed Chinese applicants and everyone who is interested in quality education that Russia today is an open, modern, hospitable country with high scientific and educational potential.
