TulSU – A Regional Brand
On October 15, a formal awards ceremony was held for the winners of the "Tula Brand 2026" prize.
This year marked the 13th edition of the awards. The prize was established by the "Dom Pressy" media holding, which publishes the newspaper "Komsomolskaya Pravda" and the magazine "Zolotoy Kvadrat", operates the websites tula.kp.ru and n71.ru, and runs the "Komsomolskaya Pravda" radio station (93.3 FM).
Fifty-five companies and enterprises were named winners across 12 categories. They were selected by residents of Tula and the surrounding region through voting on the website n71.ru, as well as by completing questionnaires and responding to inquiries from correspondents on the city’s streets.
The winners were chosen by the people of the Tula region. The voting process identified the best companies and enterprises in various sectors, including: "Defense Enterprises," "Finance and Insurance," "Industrial and Manufacturing Enterprises," "Agriculture," "Construction Organizations," "Service Sector," "Transport Services and Automotive," "Health and Beauty," "Education and Public Organizations," and "Public Utilities and Resource Provision."
Pavel Vladimirovich Korenyugin, the organizer of the awards and General Director of the "Dom Pressy" media holding, addressed the attendees:
"The year 2026 is a milestone year. Not long ago, we celebrated the 880th anniversary of the founding of our beloved city — a city rich in history, renowned for its products, and, of course, proud of its people. Today, this hall is filled with individuals who are shaping the city’s modern history. They are creating a contemporary, comfortable urban environment, producing and promoting goods that are well-known far beyond our region’s borders, and working day in and day out for the benefit and development of the Tula region." The "Tula Brand" platform offers an opportunity to expand these horizons by fostering unique communication and strengthening the interaction between businesses, government authorities, and end consumers.
Today, the "Tula Brand" serves as a mark of regional recognition — a well-deserved victory!
In the "Education and Public Organizations" category, Tula State University was named one of the winners. The award was presented to Tula State University Vice-Rector Andrey Andreyevich Malikov by Nikolay Yuryevich Vorobyev, a Senator of the Russian Federation representing the executive branch of the Tula Region in the Federation Council.
