Cooperation: Tula State University and Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry named after A.I. Evdokimov
On October 17, Tula State University rector Oleg Aleksandrovich Kravchenko and Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry named after A.I. Evdokimov rector Oleg Olegovich Yanushevich signed the agreement of cooperation.
Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry named after A.I. Evdokimov is one of the largest centers of higher medical education and a number of related specialties. The main university in Russia for dentists training. The university includes three clinics of its own: the clinical center of dentistry, the clinical center of maxillofacial, plastic surgery and dentistry, and the clinical medical center.
The main forms of cooperation between Tula and Moscow universities were discussed during the visit of Tula State University delegation to Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry named after A.I. Evdokimov. Among the delegation were Vice-Rector E.S. Temnov, Acting Director of Tula State University Medical Institute O.N. Borisova, chief physician of Tula State University medical clinical center R.V. Grachev, head of the department for training highly qualified personnel O.A. Weaver and others.
Representatives of the Tula university visited the clinic of one of the country's leading medical universities, as well as a multidisciplinary accreditation and simulation center. Projects of mutual interest have been outlined, including those on research in the field of medical informatics.
Cooperation agreement signed by O.A. Kravchenko and O.O. Yanushevich, involves the joint implementation of educational, medical, scientific activities in order to obtain new results of a fundamental and applied nature in the priority areas of activity of the parties. Joint projects of Tula State University and Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry named after A.I. Evdokimov may relate, among other things, to projects of scientific and educational centers, innovation and technology centers, full-cycle scientific and educational complexes, and “Priority 2030” program. It is expected, in particular, mutual consultations and workshops, joint participation in research programs and projects, scientific teams with representatives of both universities, the development of new technologies, and even more.
At the medical simulation center of Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry named after A.I. Evdokimov representatives of universities exchanged experience in conducting accreditation events. The multidisciplinary accreditation and simulation center of Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry named after A.I. Evdokimov started its work on the basis of Kuskovo Clinical Medical Center in 2015. On five hundred square meters there are five thematic simulation rooms and five classrooms. During the academic year, the center is visited by more than five thousand students from various clinical areas.
The activity basis of the accreditation and simulation center of Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry named after A.I. Evdokimov, as well as the similar center of Tula State University, is the simulation training of students and the practical part of the state accreditation – both primary and primary specialized. In addition, the equipment allows accreditation in various medical specialties. We remind you, that thanks to the support of Tula Region Government, in 2022 Tula State University fully equipped the stations, and now accreditation is possible in more than forty medical specialties.
