The Forum-Festival "We Welcome All the Flags!" began with a meeting of the rector of Tula State University O.A. Kravchenko with the representatives of the Embassies of countries whose citizens study at our university (Palestine, Indonesia, Uzbekistan, the Republic of Guinea, Zambia).

The rector, welcoming the guests, emphasized: “We try to be sensitive to your culture and honor it, we invite students to join the culture of our country.”

Oleg Alexandrovich made a historical digression, marking the 60th anniversary of the start of foreign citizens training at Tula State University.

Director of Institute of International Education of Tula State University Olga Dmitrievna Gladkova spoke about different activities at university that international students are involved into. International students share with each other the peculiarities of life in their countries, participate in university competitions and volunteering.

Director of Institute of International Education, in a conversation with representatives of the Embassies, noted the success of the students in their studies: “All international graduates are trying to use the knowledge they gained here for the benefit of their countries.”

During business breakfast, the representatives of the Embassies shared their impressions of Tula. Nanang Fadillah, Coordinator of the Department of Information and Socio-Cultural Work at the Embassy of Indonesia: “Tula is a beautiful city with its own culture. Our students love it here."

At the end of the meeting, the rector of Tuls State Univeristy handed in the letters of thanks to the representatives of diplomatic missions.
