TSU and the Republic of Uzbekistan: cooperation in the field of education
The rector of the Tula State University Oleg Aleksandrovich Kravchenko and the Vice-Rector for International and Project Activities Olesya Evgenievna Labadze are on a working visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan as part of the delegation of the Tula region.
The program of their stay in the country is very rich.
On April 24, representatives of TSU visited the Russian House in Uzbekistan and talked with its leader, Mikhail Valerievich Vozhdaev. During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to attracting applicants from Uzbekistan to study at TSU.
April 25 at the site of the International Industrial Exhibition “INNOPROM. Central Asia” signed an Agreement on bilateral cooperation between Tula State University and Urgench State University.
The areas of interaction are joint scientific events and research projects, the creation of teams of authors to solve research and educational problems, the exchange of experience in the implementation of advanced technologies and teaching methods, the results of scientific research and development, publications, educational materials, the training of scientific personnel, cooperation in the field of mobility of young scientists and students.
In this regard, it is important to recall the words of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Russian Federation, Botirjon Zakirovich Asadov, that Russia and Uzbekistan are already successfully interacting in new formats.
Thanks to the exchange of students, representatives of both countries get acquainted with the traditions and life of their peers. On the basis of many Russian universities, centers of the Uzbek language and culture are successfully operating.
If earlier there was a tendency when representatives of the 45+ age category were better informed about Uzbekistan, now it is young people who receive a lot of information about the country. Currently, Russia and Uzbekistan are conducting an intensive dialogue in the humanitarian sphere.
205 citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan study at Tula State University, of which 58 people are full-time and 147 are part-time.
In terms of number, Uzbek students rank third among full-time students and first among full-time and part-time students.
Citizens of Uzbekistan master programs in 41 areas of training. In full-time education, the specialty "Medicine" leads, in correspondence and part-time - "Customs". The areas of study "Economics", "Electric power industry", "Construction" and others are also popular.
Many students and graduates of TSU from the Republic of Uzbekistan show themselves worthily in the social, cultural and sports life of the university and the city.
Now a graduate of TSU, Dildorkhan Zakirova, during the pandemic of a new coronavirus infection, was an active participant in the #WeTogether volunteer movement. The girl was awarded the Gratitude of the Governor of the Tula region Alexei Gennadievich Dyumin.
Resident Orzimurod Lazizov works in medical institutions in Tula. The guy received the Gratitude of the Religious Organization of Muslims of Tula "Nur".
Karina Labazhevskaya is a multifaceted personality. She is a participant in the educational project of TSU "Student Entrepreneurship" and the International Historical School, was awarded a diploma of the finalist of the competition "Best graduate of TSU 2023". The girl is engaged in painting and organized several solo exhibitions. Karina is an excellent student and goes to a red diploma.
Gulasal Numanova in 2022 took an active part in the Forum of Foreign Students of Russia.
She and another Uzbek student, Mokhnura Yokibjonova, became winners of the quiz “Tula. History and Modernity".
In March 2023, the Kursk State University hosted the International Poetry Competition "I Speak of Love in Poetry". And here the students of TSU from Uzbekistan excelled! The diploma of the first degree was awarded to Mohinur Mannobkhonova, and the Diploma of the second degree to Arina Karimova.
The peoples of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan, notes the rector of TSU Oleg Aleksandrovich Kravchenko, are in a single humanitarian space, and cooperation between states in the field of education at the present stage is one of the priorities for the leadership of both countries and meets the interests of their citizens.
On April 26, a delegation from our region visited the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Uzbekistan.
