From May 13 to May 22, the Republic of India hosted the annual All India Exhibition-Fair of Educational Opportunities of Universities "Russian Education - 2023", the venues of which were organized in 5 cities: New Delhi, Patna, Kolkata, Bangalore, Mumbai.

This year, representatives of Tula State University, St. Petersburg State University, Perm State Medical University, Mari State University, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Orenburg State Medical University came to India.

Director of Institute of International Education of Tula State University Olga Dmitrievna Gladkova took part in the exhibition-fair. She brought souvenirs to the exhibition-fair, presentation leaflets about the educational opportunities of Tula State University in English, as well as video materials containing stories of international students about our university in English and Hindi.

Exhibition-fairs in five Indian cities aroused genuine interest from both potential applicants and their parents. And in New Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai, exhibitions-fairs were held on the basis of Russian Houses - representative offices of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of India.

Applicants and their families had a great opportunity to get first-hand expert advice on studying abroad, in particular in Tula.

Personal communication with the director of Institute of International Education allowed potential applicants to find out a lot of details not only about educational programs, in particular about “General Medicine” program in English, but also about living conditions, the specifics of the location of the university, socio-cultural adaptation for foreign citizens.

The visit of Russian universities to India was covered by the media in English and local languages in each city, and information about the universities participating in the exhibition-fair will be posted on the website: http://www.ruseducation.in for the next 12 months. Russian education in India is traditionally in demand. The medical professions are especially in demand. Indians who receive medical education in Russia, upon returning to their homeland, have the opportunity to start practicing medicine or teaching.
