Every Country and Every Nation Should Head for Rapprochement

Last week, international students of Tula State University from Tajikistan, Jordan, Palestine, Yemen, Syria, Iraq, Cambodia and Uganda took part in the scientific and practical conference "International Cooperation: New Opportunities and Development Prospects", organized in Tula with the assistance of the Joint Stock Company "Regional Corporation for Development and Support of Tula Region, a regional development institution engaged in attracting investments to Tula Region, supporting investment projects, creating and developing an industrial park and a special economic zone.

Within the framework of the plenary session, Yulia Igorevna Ershova, Director of the Department of Investment Activities and Foreign Economic Relations of the Ministry of Economic Development of Tula Region, Pavel Vladimirovich Tatarnikov, General Director of the Regional Corporation for Development and Support of Tula Region, Vice President of the Union "Tula Commercial and Industrial chamber "Ilya Aleksandrovich Lobanov greeted the participants of the conference.

Marina Elmanovna Kalinina, Deputy Director of Institute of International Education of Tula State University, who accompanied the students to the conference, noted in her response that every country and every nation should head for rapprochement to create favorable conditions and platforms for intercultural dialogue and partnerships. She also wished active and fruitful work to the participants of the conference, success, achievements and development of their creative potential.

Participants from Tula State University made three reports.

A student from Tajikistan, Umedjon Nasredinov, presented to the organizers, guests and participants of the conference his report on the topic "Many Cultures - One Civilization: Traditions and Customs of Tajiks", in which the idea that the traditions of Tajikistan are the key to the way of life of Tajiks, their cultural values, aesthetics, and one of the best ways to get to know this amazing country.

Ali Salem from Syria prepared the report "Palmyra - from Antiquity to the Present Day", inviting all those present at the conference to a fascinating journey through the centuries to the ancient Syrian city. And although the former greatness of the city was buried by time, today the city of Palmyra is being actively restored again and is acquiring its former glory.

A fascinating report by Mustafa Abdulhalem from Iraq on the topic “The Middle East: Outstanding Achievements of Antiquity and Modernity. Lost Inventions” surprised everyone  with an abundance of interesting and non-trivial facts about well-known inventions, which were initiated by the outstanding minds of the Islamic and Arab world.
