The head of state noted the symbolism of the fact that the event is taking place on the Tula land, which has always been famous for its craftsmen, dynasties of workers, engineers and gunsmiths. Today, he said, the confident development of the domestic industry, building up its competitive abilities, positions both in the domestic and global markets, and solving key tasks to strengthen the security, economic and technological sovereignty of the country depend to a large extent on the personnel potential. Therefore, it is very important that young professionals come to the enterprises, thinking in a modern way, ready to take responsibility and offer non-standard solutions. It was young people and experienced specialists who ensured the stable operation of Russian industry and its development in the face of severe external challenges. The modernization of industry, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin stressed, is our absolute priority. Therefore, the introduction of the latest technologies and digital solutions will be further stimulated, programs of vocational education, training and retraining of personnel will be updated, including for such basic, backbone industries as mechanical engineering, shipbuilding and aircraft building, machine tool and instrument making, robotics and electronics, production of industrial and power equipment. The President of the Russian Federation thanked the Union of Mechanical Engineers of Russia, Rosmolodezh, the League for Assistance to Defense Enterprises, the Rostec Corporation and other domestic companies for their contribution to the organization of the forum. This forum, the head of state expressed confidence, will serve to develop the personnel potential of the leading sectors of Russian industry, increase the authority and prestige of engineering and blue-collar professions, strengthen partnerships and launch new joint projects. Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin wished fruitful work and success to all participants and guests.

The governor of the Tula region, Alexei Gennadievich Dyumin, admitted that he was sincerely glad to welcome dear friends to the hospitable Tula land. Tula is the arms capital of Russia, an outpost city. Well-known gunsmiths worked here - Tokarev, Stechkin, Makarov, Gryazev, Shipunov ... Alexey Gennadyevich emphasized that the President of Russia has set serious tasks. They are difficult but doable. This is the sustainable development of all sectors of the economy and ensuring technological sovereignty. Already today and tomorrow, these tasks must be carried out without delay by highly qualified personnel - young engineers, future engineers and designers. For the second year in a row, the Governor said, the forum is being held in the region. This is a serious responsibility. Everything was done to create the necessary conditions for the comfort and safety of the participants. The forum has a large expert scientific community. It is important that the ideas of the participants and their innovative solutions take on a technological form and be further introduced into production.

The head of the region noted that in addition to the scientific and educational organizers prepared a large cultural and entertainment program, and advised the participants to find time for cultural recreation. The International Youth Industrial Forum "Engineers of the Future", said Vladimir Vladimirovich Gutenev, Deputy Chairman of the Union of Mechanical Engineers of Russia, Chairman of the Committee of the State Duma of the Russian Federation for Industry and Trade, has already been held for the 11th time.
