Tula State University in the Ranking of the Best Russian Universities in Engineering & Technology

Tula State University for the first time entered the ranking of the best Russian universities in engineering and technology in 2023.

The ranking was published by the RAEX agency (RAEX-Analytics).

The ranking methodology was carried out taking into account the expert opinions of representatives from the academic and scientific community.

The university’s position in the ranking was influenced by three factors: the demand for graduates in the labor market, the quality of education, and scientific results.

The ranking uses statistical data (monitoring by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, scientometric databases, university questionnaires) and survey data conducted by the RAEX agency.

In the list of the best universities in the engineering and technical field, Moscow State Technical University named after N.E. Bauman took the first place, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology was in the second place, and Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov took the third place for the first time.

Compared to the 2021 study, only two new subjects of the Russian Federation appeared on the list, which universities were not previously included in the engineering & technology rankings - these are Volgograd and Tula Regions.

Tula State University took the 61st place with a ranking functionality of 18.699.
