Medical student of the Institute of International Education of Tula State University on the path to success
The Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Russian Federation initiated the “Student of the Year - 2023” competition among Tajik students of higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation. Its main objectives are to support and encourage talented students, strengthen interethnic dialogue, intercultural and scientific ties with Russian universities, adapt Tajik youth to the Russian Federation, and search for the best students to work in the Public Council at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Nurmukhammad Mardaev, a fifth-year student majoring in General Medicine at the Institute of International Education at Tula State University, was invited to participate in the award ceremony and other competitive events that will be held in Moscow on January 25-26. The guy wanted to become a doctor since childhood. I am convinced that this is the most noble and humane profession in the world. A doctor brings great benefits to people and protects their health.
Nurmukhammad admits that he was motivated to participate in the competition by interest and desire to try his hand. The future neurologist sent his essay on the topic “My Homeland,” a letter of recommendation from the university and a reference from his place of work. And he works as a paramedic at the first ambulance substation in the city of Tula. “I’m sure that the experience I gained at Tula State University helped me successfully pass the competitive selection,” shares Nurmukhammad. — Initially, I entered the university on a contract basis. I tried to study well and in 2022 I was able to transfer to the budget. In addition, I am an active person in life. I am a member of the All-Russian movement “Medical Volunteers”, I take part in various events of the Tajik community. Winning the competition is an impetus for new achievements for me!
“Nurmukhammad Mardaev gives the impression of a person who sets serious goals for himself and strives to achieve them,” says Olga Dmitrievna Gladkova, candidate of pedagogical sciences, director of the Institute of International Education. — We are glad that he was invited to participate in the ceremony honoring the winners of such a significant competition! And we are very proud of our student!
