Choosing the future of our country

On the 15-th of March, the first day of the Russian Presidential election, the polling stations, located at Tula State University were fully prepared to welcome voters.
Everything was fine-tuned to the last detail. Tula State University volunteers worked clearly and promptly at their posts.
The nominal polling station № 2404 "World Youth Festival" pleased the eye with festival symbols.
Rector of TulSU Oleg Aleksandrovich Kravchenko called the election of the President of the Russian Federation a significant event in the life of our state. Citizens vote for the future of their country.
The head of the university emphasized that five polling stations had been organised at Tula State University. All necessary conditions have been created for students, teachers and staff.
- I know the spirit the members of our huge staff participate in this important event for Russia with, - said Oleg Aleksandrovich. - And I am sure that everyone will make their choice!
The employees of the Scientific Research and Development Department came to the nominal polling station "World Youth Festival" as a friendly team.
Deputy Heads of the Scientific Research and Development Department Inessa Aleksandrovna Grachyova and Sergey Alekseevich Yashin, secretary Galina Vasilievna Chikova, Deputy Head of the Patent and Licence Department Antonina Yevgenyevna Dorokhina, Olga Nikolayevna Tarasova, specialist of the Department of Organisation and Planning of the Scientific Research Works, Olga Sergeyevna Yevdokimova, engineer of the same department, Christina Andreyevna Soboleva, specialist of the Scientific Research and Development Department - all of them are convinced that a real citizen should show consciousness and a sense of patriotism.
Participation in the Presidential Election of the Russian Federation means involvement in the social and political life of the country, concernment in its dynamic development, and a desire to stand up for your Homeland," said the colleagues. - Every voice is important! And every voice will be heard!
- Our participation, - added Olga Viktorovna Ovsyannikova, an engineer of the Dissertation Council Support Department, - testifies to our active civic position.
Olga Dmitriyevna Gladkova, Director of the Institute of International Education at TulSU, also expressed her solidarity with the SRDD staff.
- I have no right not to show my civic position! - she confessed. - I vote for a future in which all the peoples of Russia are united and invincible.
The Yudakovs came to the elections together with their youngest daughter Alesya. The girl is only three and a half years old.
The head of the family, Alexander Yevgenyevich, runs the Educational Laboratory of the Department of the "Polyclinic Medicine". His wife, Nadezhda Dmitriyevna, works at the same department as a senior lecturer.
- Participating in elections, - they shared, - we fulfil our civic duty!
Boris Belobragin, Hero of Labour of the Russian Federation, Honorary Doctor of TulSU, an alumnus of our university, voted at the polling station 2406, located in the second academic building of TulSU.
- I voted for our Russia! - he said. - For her well-being, for her strength, for her prosperity. That's what I voted for!
- Elections are always very important. We don't vote that often. But today they are especially important in the light of the events that are taking place in our country," said Samuel Davidovich Feigin, Advisor to the Rector of TulSU.
- We must vote for the future of Russia! We live here, as well as our children and all our generations will.
Exactly! All ouf us vote for the sake of our future.
