Tula State University students steeped in their future profession

The first-year students of the Oil and Gas Engineering program of the Institute of Mining and
Construction and the Institute of International Education of Tula State University visited the Tula Linear Production Department of Main Gas Pipelines
- a branch of Gazprom Transgaz Moscow, LLC.
The students were accompanied by Doctor of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of
the Mechanics of Materials and Geotechnology Department Sergey VladimirovichAntsiferov, professors of this Department, Doctor of Technical Sciences
Vladimir Ivanovich Sarychev, Pyotr Vyacheslavovich Deyev and Victor Petrovich Safronov.
The trip was
organized at the invitation of Alexander Vladimirovich Fomin, Director of the Tula branch of Gazprom Transgaz Moscow, LLC. 
The students
got acquainted with the operating facilities of the gas industry of the TulaRegion - gas trunk line management, gas distribution and compressor stations.
For the first time they saw modern technological equipment used in gas transportation and distribution, learned about working conditions at these
enterprises and safety requirements, and talked to Alexander Vladimirovich Fomin and leading specialists of the department. 
- The company
is interested in graduates and students of the Institute of Mining and Construction,who study not only under the Oil and Gas Engineering program, but also in other
areas of training implemented by the Institute of Mining and Construction. Our students are also welcome to undertake industrial training, - emphasized Sergey
Vladimirovich Antsiferov. - The Oil and Gas Engineering direction of training appeared in our university in 2024. Technically it is new. And for the guys who chose
it, it is very important and interesting to get an idea of their future professional activity at the stage of training. The trip has contributed to
this to a certain extent. The students were satisfied, as they received a lot of useful information.
