Students of the Tula region will be able to study development on Yandex Education programs
Students of Tula State University will be able to study on Yandex programs in the Tula
region.
The courses on backend, frontend and mobile development will be taught by the company's
experts. Yandex has also developed a special course on interactive methods of teaching IT disciplines and evaluating IT projects for university employees.
The
educational modules have been developed by Yandex experts. They will be integrated into bachelor's programs for IT specialists and will strengthen them
with applied disciplines and company cases.
The university will be able to integrate one or several modules: on backend, frontend, and
mobile development.
The program will have an academic supervisor from Yandex, who is responsible for the content
of the module and its adaptation for each university.
“It is important to us that high-quality IT education is available to students across
Russia, so we are expanding our partnership with regional universities.Universities receive access to educational content from the company's experts
and a course for teachers on modern methods of teaching IT disciplines. We also involve Yandex employees in teaching at the programs. And as early as the new
academic year students from 17 regions of the country - from Primorsky Krai to Kaliningrad Oblast - will be able to study development on our modules”,

Students will master application development in Python, JavaScript, React or Django. They
will also learn how to work with API services and manage server infrastructure.

education at the university and attract talented students to our region. We are open to the introduction of both new courses in terms of content and new
practice-oriented teaching methods offered by bigtech. They are important for training in-demand specialists for the dynamic IT market,”

From September2025, Yandex Education programs will appear in 5 regions for the first time.
In addition to
the Tula Region, they have been launched in the Voronezh, Kaliningrad, Rostov Regions and Krasnoyarsk Krai.
This
initiative is part of Yandex's large-scale education development program.In2025, Yandex will invest more than 5 billion rubles in training specialists in
IT and artificial intelligence, launching new educational programs and developing solutions for school and higher education. The total number of
Yandex partner universities will reach 39, and the number of joint programs with universities will exceed 70. More than 15 thousand students will be able
to study on them, which is 50% more than last year.
