Six Tula State University scientists received grants from the Russian Science Foundation

The Russian Science Foundation announced the results of three regional competitions: for small individual research groups, for individual research groups, and for exploratory research.

Scientists from Tula State University have won two competitions. Project funding splits equally: 50% from the Russian Science Foundation and 50% from the regional budget.

The competition for small, individual research groups aims to develop new topics and form research teams. Of the 313 supported projects from 39 regions of Russia, four Tula State University scientists received grants for 2026–2027 years (1.5 million rubles per year):

Valentina Vyacheslavovna Sulimova - "Explicable methods and algorithms for high-performance solution of two-class recognition problems in high-dimensional spaces";

Lyubov Sergeyevna Kuznetsova - "Development of analytical devices for medical purposes based on electrocatalytically active materials";

Anna Sergeнevna Kharkova - "Targeted design of modified electroactive peptides for the detection of microparticles of anthropogenic polymers and the production of environmentally friendly energy through bioelectrochemical conversion of receptor systems";

Sergey Nikolayevich Larin - "Theoretical substantiation of the formation of axisymmetric shells from high-strength materials under hot deformation conditions."

A competition for individual research groups supported 85 projects from 28 regions. The research focused on the region's priority areas and its socioeconomic development. Two Tula State University projects received grants for 2026–2028 years (7 million rubles per year):

Vadim Vadimovich Glagolev - "The state of destruction of a thin elastoplastic adhesive layer with a crack-like defect in a layered composite";

Vyacheslav Alekseyevich Arlyapov — "Development of a strategy for creating a biohybrid electro-microbial system for the cascade transformation of CO₂ into polyhydroxyalkanoates using microbial biofilms and bimetallic catalysts stabilized by conducting polymers."

RSF grants are awarded across all fields of study covered by the Foundation's classification system and will make a significant contribution to the development of science in the Tula Region and throughout Russia.

Congratulations to our colleagues!
