Today, Tula State University turns 96!

Dear friends, colleagues, students, and graduates!

Today is a special day for each of us - our university was born exactly 96 years ago.

The decision to establish the Tula Mechanical Institute (name of TulSU back then) was taken by the Council of Labor and Defense on April 30, 1930. This date marks the beginning of the history of our alma mater, which later became a leading higher education institution in the region and the country.

I sincerely thank everyone who has nurtured the university's traditions over the years: veteran teachers, scientists, and staff. Your hard work, patience, and dedication are the key to our dynamic development; and of course, I express huge gratitude to the current students and faculty - your energy, bold ideas, and thirst for knowledge prove every day that Tula State University lives and breathes the future.

I am confident that even more discoveries, remarkable victories, and happy destinies lie ahead. May the walls of our beloved university always be filled with young voices, may breakthrough projects be born, and may confidence in the future grow stronger.

Happy birthday, Tula State University!

TulSU Rector O.A. Kravchenko
