It was full of interesting educational modules, an exciting cultural program, various sports events and bright and unforgettable emotions that were given to the participants by communicating with each other on the hospitable Tula land.
On July 3, young specialists, researchers and students will go to their cities, but in their hearts they will forever keep the memory of this event, which sealed their engineering brotherhood with a special seal of friendship, mutual understanding and creative search.
On July 2, the forum concluded its work with grand ceremonies. There were several of them, since it was not possible to sum up the results of this large-scale event in one go. Its format was so diverse! This date in the series of forum days for Tula State University became significant. The first ceremony was the awarding of the winners of cultural, sports and media activities.
Congratulating the participants, the Minister of Youth Policy of the Tula Region Anastasiya Aleksandrovna Barinova especially emphasized that an engineer is a multifaceted profession that is inseparable from creativity. She wished all the winners to believe in themselves and develop their potential. The name of a student of our university was announced at this ceremony.
Third-year student of the Institute of Law and Management Alexey Kryukov won first place in the Chess Championship. The boy started playing chess under the watchful guidance of his mother, Irina Viktorovna Kryukova, when he was just four years old, and she, by the way, is an international grandmaster. She instilled love for this intellectual game in her son.
- Chess brought up self-discipline and willpower in me, contributed to the formation of critical and creative thinking, and, as a result, this victory in the Championship. Chess generally helps me in life and I am very grateful to my mother for introducing me to it! - Alexey shared. - As for the Forum "Engineers of the Future", it amazed me with its wonderful atmosphere of friendliness and spiritual community. I would be very pleased to give the highest score to the organizers of this event!
The team "Precisely, and that`s it" also distinguished itself at the forum. It included representatives of the V.P. Gryazev Institute of High-Precision Systems of Tula State University - third-year student Valeriya Parfiryeva and fifth-year students Maxim Gubarev and Vladimir Dobarin. Our guys were trained in the "High-Precision Complexes" tent. Their classes were held by the specialists from the A.G. Shipunov Instrument-Making Design Bureau and the Tula Engineering School "Intelligent Defense Complexes".
The educational program of the Tula State University PES (Progressive Engineering School) included three blocks: "Composite Materials for Aerospace and General Industrial Purposes", "Application of Artificial Intelligence Methods in Control and Radar Systems", "Principles of Building Mobile Robotic Complexes".
— All classes were dedicated to project activities, — Valeriya commented. — Using the plot of the «War Thunder» game, we developed the project «Attack on a military airfield». Our team chose weapons for ourselves, and analyzed the weapons that our potential enemy could use. We also completed a task, the essence of which was to provide means of communication between the observation post, the decision-making point and the tank control point. During the practical lesson «Work of artificial intelligence algorithms with multispectral images» we trained a neural network to distinguish models in the image. Based on the totality of the proposed solutions, our team «Precisely, and that`s it» was recognized as the winner. We are very proud of such an excellent result!
A ceremonial presentation of certificates and advanced training certificates under the program "High-tech in mechanical engineering" implemented by Tula State University was held in the tent "Science-intensive technologies in mechanical engineering".
The head of the representative office of the State Corporation "Rostechnologies" in the Tula region Konstantin Ivanovich Danilov, the chairman of the Tula regional branch of the Union of Mechanical Engineers of Russia, managing director of JSC "Tulatochmash" Vladimir Nikolaevich Filippov, the rector of Tula State University Oleg Aleksandrovich Kravchenko, guests of the forum representing various spheres of activity, including national show business and cinematography, arrived to congratulate the heroes of the occasion.
Engineering art, like any other art, is capable of uniting people in such touching and exciting moments.
All the newly-qualified graduates were dressed, as tradition requires, in robes and caps.
The students received 33 identity documents and 12 certificates.
The documents were presented to them by the Assistant to the General Director of the State Corporation “Rostec”, member of the Bureau of the League for Assistance to Defense Enterprises Yuliya Anatolyevna Voronova, the General Director of JSC “OPK”, member of the Bureau of the League for Assistance to Defense Enterprises Sergey Stepanovich Sakhnenko, Acting Deputy Head of the Tambov Region Nataliya Vladimirovna Makarevich, Russian singer, musician and composer Andrey Vladimirovich Derzhavin, Russian theater and film actor, People's Artist of the Russian Federation Fyodor Viktorovich Dobronravov, Deputy General Director for Human Resources Management of JSC “KRET” Izumrud Aligadzhiyevna Alimuradova and the Chairperson of the Arbitration Institution of the Union of Mechanical Engineers of Russia, Professor of the Department of Entrepreneurial Law, Head of the Master's Program in Corporate Law of the Law Faculty of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov Irina Sergeevna Shitkina.
The highlight of the ceremony was the performance of Kseniya Dailneva, a student of the Tula State University Medical Institute and participant of the “Miss Forum-2025” contest. The future doctor performed the song "Motherland".
The details of the singer's stage costume were made of composite materials that combine the strength of carbon fiber and incredible lightness.
Dmitriy Khayrullin, a third-year student of the Aircraft Control Systems specialty at the V.P. Gryazev Institute of High-Precision Systems at Tula State University, became the holder of a certificate.
— The comprehensive advanced training program was held in three stages, — the student said. — “Stereotek” company was responsible for the first stage. We, the students, learned about additive technologies, 5D printing, and scanning methods. In addition, an immersive lecture called “An Accident at an Enterprise” was organized for us, thanks to which we had the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the production environment. Its essence is as follows: a pump fail resulted in the reactor overheating. As a result, chlorine was released. Our task was to restore the broken part of the pump using reverse engineering method. Personally, I was engaged in 3D modeling. I made a complete copy of the damaged pump part. After that, we installed a new part and conducted tests that allowed us to draw a conclusion about the pump’s operability. The pump in our workshop turned out to be the most powerful! In the allotted time, it pumped more liquid than other pumps.
The second stage classes, Dmitriy continued, were conducted by employees of the Inter-University Scientific and Technical Center "Composite" and the Polytechnic Institute of Tula State University. The students were told about composite materials and their areas of application. Under the guidance of the teachers, the forum participants made carbon fiber products - frames for drones and knee-pads for hockey players. The third stage was also very interesting. Its program was prepared by specialists from the Tula Engineering School "Intelligent Defense Complexes". The students learned about advanced scanning methods and even tried to scan a person.
— The Engineers of the Future forum is a huge communication platform! Here we got to know each other, established connections, and this is great! — Dmitriy shared his impressions. — The advanced training program will definitely be useful to me, since it is aimed at solving import substitution problems. Simply put, it teaches how to copy damaged products and their parts and create new ones using reverse engineering. I plan to connect my life with the defense industry, so everything is on point for me. In addition, the certificate is another contribution to the portfolio.
The current employees of the enterprises will take home certificates.
Ksenia Kihu is a leading engineer-technologist at “Electrical Equipment Plant”, CJSC (Velikiye Luki, Pskov Region):
— I am very pleased with the educational program for advanced training! — she emphasized. — I learned how to use additive technologies in production, got acquainted with different types of composite materials, and studied in practice how the process of scanning parts with subsequent printing on a 5D printer occurs. Additive technologies are the future. So it is quite possible that I will have to deal with them. Our lectures were very exciting and so lively! Not only did we get answers to all the questions that worried us, but we also worked with our own hands and felt everything.
Alina Petrova, first-category process engineer at “Sibgazstroidetal”, CJSC (Omsk):
- I received a lot of useful information! - she said. - I learned about composite materials and reverse engineering. I was very impressed by the lectures on methods of processing composite products, die-casting, and unmanned aerial vehicles. Using the vacuum infusion method, the participants and I made knee-pads for hockey players. Of course, all this broadens your professional horizons. I am very pleased!
Argishti Amiryan is from Rostov region. He graduated from the energy department of the South-Russian State Polytechnical University named after M.I. Platov. He currently works as a group leader at the Novocherkassk Electric Locomotive Plant.
- The rector of the Tula State University Oleg Aleksandrovich Kravchenko taught me the discipline "Electric Machines and Drives", lectures and practical classes, - he shared. - A responsible, punctual teacher with deep knowledge of the material, ready to help students understand the subject. That's how I remembered him. Oleg Aleksandrovich treated us with great respect and his appearance testified to this. Neat, always in a suit and tie. Of course, I knew that he would be at the forum, but when I saw him, I was so happy, as if it was a pleasant surprise.
The advanced training courses in the program "Science-intensive technologies in mechanical engineering", according to Argishti, had a very beneficial effect on him.
- I mastered new additive technologies that I had never heard of before. I tried to scan parts and print them on a 5D printer, - he said. - I am sure that the knowledge and experience I gained will help me in my future work!
This is how the "Science-intensive technologies in mechanical engineering" tent turned into a place for good meetings.
The cycle of ceremonial events ended with the closing ceremony of the XIII International Industrial Forum "Engineers of the Future". The Governor of the Tula Region Dmitry Vyacheslavovich Milyaev took part in it.
