Representatives of Tula science and chemical industry took part in the Future Technologies Forum held today in Moscow.
Welcoming the participants of the forum, the President of Russia Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin noted the importance of developing areas of material science, which in today's world has a huge impact on the elaboration of new technologies in all spheres of life. The performance characteristics of modern products, both military and civilian, largely depend on the latest materials.
The rector of the Tula State University Oleg Aleksandrovich Kravchenko, who took part in the forum, noted that much attention was paid to composite materials.
- One of the strategic directions of the project ‘Priority-2030’, within the framework of which TulSU effectively works, is ‘Composite and functional materials’, - Oleg Aleksandrovich told. - Scientists and students of the university willingly master knowledge and practices for this most important vector of materials science, which is not only the present, but also the future. A number of scientific works in this sphere is carried out jointly with leading Tula enterprises with the support of the Tula region government. This direction is very promising.
