Accreditation as an important step towards a dream
Graduates of the specialty "General Medicine" of the Medical Institute and graduates of residency at Tula State University have an important stage in their professional development: they undergo an accreditation procedure to confirm their knowledge and skills.
In the accreditation and simulation center of TSU, from July 10 to July 24, primary accreditation of graduates of the specialty "General Medicine" and specialized accreditation of residency graduates are held, for which these events are confirmation of their readiness to work as doctors.
Recall that in 2023, with the support of a grant from the government of the Tula region, as part of the Priority 2030 development program, TSU updated the material base of the accreditation and simulation center. It is equipped with modern interactive mannequins that act as "patients". When conducting accreditation, when assessing the practical skills of graduates in simulated conditions, real medical equipment and instruments are used.
Leading specialists of regional healthcare work at each station during the exams, who evaluate the level of training of future doctors.
Accreditation is an opportunity to apply your knowledge gained during your studies at the Medical Institute in conditions close to real ones, said Ksenia Ryndina, a graduate of the specialty "Medicine".
“I am very pleased with the fact that students are allowed to visit the simulation center for training outside of school hours, because it is not always possible to study at the bedside of the patient,” the future doctor noted. – I have successfully passed the accreditation and I am going to continue my studies in residency in the specialty “X-ray”. Since I signed an agreement on targeted training, in the future I will work as a radiologist at the Tula Regional Clinical Hospital.
Another graduate, Elena Mudretsova, is also a target target and will also be employed at the TOKB, but with a degree in Anesthesiology and Resuscitation. She will also have to study at the TSU residency.
– We learn from real professionals, and testing knowledge in the accreditation and simulation center once again confirms the acquired knowledge, skills and abilities. This exam was held at the highest level, and most importantly, it was interesting, - Elena shared her impressions.
Resident Anton Kostin has been working in the intensive care unit of the Tula city emergency hospital named after D.Ya. for the last year and a half. Vanykin. The other day, he successfully passed specialized accreditation for residency graduates.
“Practical experience was enough from the first day, since this is the only emergency hospital in the whole city,” Anton noted. – I had to do a huge amount of work: patients entered the department with a variety of diseases and pathologies. Naturally, such experience will be useful in the future. In the future, I plan to move to work in a new oncology dispensary.
For residents, professional accreditation is the second in their career. They passed the first when they graduated from the specialty "General Medicine". In both cases, this is a very responsible procedure, Ekaterina Kazimirova, a graduate of the residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, confirmed. But this is an obligatory step on the way to a dream.
- Initially, I was sure that I would work in a maternity hospital - you can say, because of this I went to study at the Medical Institute, - Ekaterina explained. - But in the course of my studies, my plans changed, and now I'm going to work in gynecology, or rather, I'm already working at the RZD-Medicine hospital. My path is to be an operating gynecologist. TSU helped fulfill the dream of becoming a doctor!
