On September 29, the Department of General Theoretical Subjects and the Russian as a Foreign Language of Institute of International Education at Tula State University held the IV Quiz for International Students in Russian “Tula. History and Modernity. " This traditional quiz was dedicated to the day of Tula Region and the Hero City of Tula celebrated in September.

International students from Tula State University were the participants, and the quiz itself was held for the second time in a hybrid format, that means that some participants had the opportunity to go through all its stages online in the electronic information and educational environment of the university. To complete all tasks of varying degrees of complexity, one hour was given.
Teachers of the Department of General Theoretical Subjects and the Russian as a Foreign Language  developed 28 questions related to significant events in the history of Tula Region, to the sights and interesting locations of the city and the region, to the famous Tula brands. Among them there were questions of both a closed type, suggesting the choice of one correct option from several proposed (multiple choice test), and an open one, where an international student was proposed to give a detailed and most importantly competent answer to the question in Russian. For example, why is the Tula gingerbread called printed? What shouldn't you, according to the Russian proverb, bring to Tula? In the form of which headgear was the new Tula Museum of Weapons built?
