In the Interests of Tula StateUniversity Development
As part of the implementation of "Priority 2030" program of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, from February 20 to February 22, an analytical session is being held at Tula State University jointly with the representatives of the FGANU Sociocenter (the operator of "Priority 2030" program).
On the first day of their visit, the Sociocenter experts: Alexey Vladimirovich Komyagin, Alexander Alexandrovich Osadchenko and Ilya Viktorovich Romanchenko met with Tula State University administration.
During the introductory session, the experts discussed with the university representatives the issues related to the implementation of the development program and three strategic projects.
Vice-Rector for International and Project Activities Olesya Evgenievna Labadze told the guests that the mission of Tula State University is to provide educational, scientific and technological leadership in the region by generating knowledge and consolidating intellectual resources.
The university is faced with the task of transforming into a highly intelligent center of scientific and technological development, implementing the strategy of advanced continuous education and generating social and technological innovations.
The main fields of scientific research at university are weapons and military equipment of the near tactical combat zone, new composite materials and technologies for their production, life sciences.
Great attention at university is being paid to the staffing of scientific activities.
Youth laboratories and student design bureaus have been created at Tula State University, a comprehensive program of targeted training for graduate and doctoral students is being implemented, a single track "master's-postgraduate" is being implemented, grant support for young researchers is being effectively carried out, and experimental design work is being successfully done in the interests of the real sector of the economy. The Startup Studio created on the basis of the university promotes the development of student technological entrepreneurship.
Olesya Evgenievna dwelled in detail on the results of the implementation of three strategic projects of the university.
In particular, she noted that within the framework of the advanced weapons project, a new undergraduate educational program "Advanced Training Equipment" was created. The volume of research and development work on this topic has increased by 75 million rubles.
During the implementation of the biochemtech project, the scientific master's program "Fundamental and Applied Chemistry" was launched, and within the composites project - the technological master's program "Machines and Technology of Composite and Functional Materials".
In her speech, she touched upon the prospects for the development of the university campus, the formation of a HR pool of the university and its digitalization. She announced the creation of a new website of the university, the updating of the student's personal account and the opening of new computer classes.
Olesya Evgenievna introduced the experts to the educational policy of the university, the main directions of which are the development of infrastructure for nuclear disciplines, language training for students and teachers of the university, promotion of educational services of Tula State University and professional public accreditation of additional professional education in the field "Translator in the Field of Professional Communications".
The Vice-Rector also spoke about the youth policy pursued by the university. She stressed that it is planned to create a resource center for the development of the volunteer movement and the implementation of projects that contribute to the spiritual, moral and patriotic education for the young people.
As for the HR policy, the development of the competencies of researchers and employees of the university is among the priorities.
On the same day, the guests visited university facilities that are directly related to the strategic projects being implemented by the university.
A very rich program awaits the participants of the session. Over the next two days, they will be engaged in project activities in four areas: "Target Model and Management System", "Basic Processes", "End-to-End / Support Processes", "Strategic Projects".
