We will collaborate with the University of Hanoi.

Today, the key event of the Year of Russian-Vietnamese Cooperation in Science and Education, the Third Forum of Rectors of Russian and Vietnamese Universities, was held in Hanoi at the Hanoi University of Transport and Communications.

This large-scale academic initiative was timed to coincide with the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Welcoming remarks to the Forum participants were addressed by Pham Gia Tuc, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Chairman of the Vietnamese section of the Intergovernmental Vietnam-Russian Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, and Technical Cooperation; Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and Chairman of the Russian section of the Russian-Vietnamese Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, and Technical Cooperation; Hoang Minh Son, Minister of Education and Personnel Training of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; Konstantin Mogilevsky, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation; and representatives of diplomatic services, intergovernmental organizations, and higher education institutions of both countries.

As part of the Forum, cooperation agreements between higher education institutions of Russia and Vietnam were ceremoniously signed.

Tula State University, represented by its Rector Oleg Aleksandrovich Kravchenko, signed a cooperation agreement with the Hanoi University of Transport and Communications.

The agreement aims to strengthen comprehensive cooperation between both educational organizations in the field of higher engineering education for the benefit of Russia and Vietnam.

The Forum includes panel sessions on "Vietnamese-Russian Cooperation in Personnel Training and Research in the Natural Sciences, Engineering, and Technology" and "Vietnamese-Russian Cooperation in Personnel Training and Research in Economics, Language, Culture, Social Sciences, and Humanities."

Talented Vietnamese youth are learning about the opportunities offered by Russian education at an educational exhibition.
Today, Tula State University Vice-Rector for International Affairs Olesya Evgenyevna Labadze visited Tung Thien Secondary School (TRƯỜNG THPT TÙNG THIỆN) in Hanoi.

The school is renowned for its strong curriculum in physics, mathematics, and natural sciences. The school has specialized classes. Many of its students are winners of national physics and mathematics Olympiads.

During a meeting with the school's director, Le Anh Tuan, a framework agreement on cooperation between the two educational organizations was signed. The parties discussed a roadmap for cooperation and prospects for training highly qualified personnel for the benefit of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Hanoi also hosted the final event of the Third Forum of Rectors of Russian and Vietnamese Universities — an exhibition of Russian education for schoolchildren and students in Vietnam.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, 40 Russian universities participating in the Forum, including Tula State University, presented their Educational programs and admission requirements.

Vietnamese schoolchildren and students learned about the Russian Government's quotas for studying at Russian universities, the specifics of pre-university preparation, Russian language learning, and much more: from living conditions to extracurricular activities. Each exhibition guest had the unique opportunity to ask questions and receive individual consultations directly from university administration.

Vietnamese youth discovered the vast world of Russian education.
